Step 1: The White Keys & The Octave
The white keys are named using the first seven letters of the alphabet: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. This pattern repeats up and down the piano. A set of eight white keys (e.g. from one C to the next C) is called an "octave". The highlighted keys show one octave. Listen to how it sounds.
